| | | Emergia Hair Group originated in 2007 with the combination of ideas, concepts and techniques of two friends and colleagues: Meadow Rubuliak and Janna Dawn Mulliner. From their start in a one chair, in-home salon they began to develop the idea of Emergia Hair Group. | | In 2008, it took the shape of the facility you see today at their present location; sharing a space with their new friends at Silky Skin Laser. Emergia Hair Group has grown organically over the past few years to be a full-service salon specializing in hair colour, home education and helping clients achieve the look they desire at a fair price. They believe in helping each person who walks into Emergia Hair Group achieve the same look they get in the salon once they go home. 1b. Emergia Hair Group believes in giving back to the community that so generously gives to them. In the Fall 2009, Emergia will be partnering with Terra –Centre for pregnant and parenting teens (www.terraassociation.com) on two different occasions. In October, Emergia Hair Group will be participating in Terra’s social awareness campaign entitled – Baby Heroes. They will be one of five drop-off locations around Edmonton helping to collect diapers for the diaper drive Terra has organized to help educate the community on the importance of helping young parents raise healthy children. In November, Emergia will be celebrating their Grand Opening incorporating activities for Terra’s clients into the mix. Emergia will be giving some of Terra’s client’s makeover’s, tips on “how to look good in a hurry” and mentoring these young parents on how to open a small business and succeed.
